Tower Defense - Game Template
Create tower defense games. Draw the road the enemies walk, design the towers that stop them, and write the waves they arrive in.
This game template allows you to create games like Bloons TD, Kingdom Rush and Desktop Tower Defense.
Features
No programming required
Create tower defense games without coding.
Draw the road, and see what it is worth
The road is the level. Drop corners and drag them about, and the editor measures the one thing that decides where a tower goes: how much of the road falls inside its range, and how much damage that comes to against each of your enemies. It is why towers belong on corners, and you can see it as you draw.
Towers that do more than shoot
Splash that answers a crowd, slows that buy every other tower more time, beams that hit instantly, armor piercing for the enemies nothing cheap can dent, and towers that can reach the things that fly. Each one gets upgrade levels the player buys while playing.
Enemies that need different answers
Armored ones that shrug off small hits, fliers that ignore the road entirely and go straight for your base, and splitters that break into a handful of fast little ones exactly where they died.
Waves with a shape
A wave is groups running off one clock, so you can send twenty runners and slip two armored ones in underneath them ten seconds later. The editor shows each wave's total health against every gold the player could have spent by then, and flags the one that is a wall rather than a step.
Build anywhere, or only where you say
Let the player put towers anywhere off the road, or mark the spots yourself and make the decision which tower rather than where. Scatter rocks and ponds to take the best ground away.
An economy you tune
Set what each map opens with, what every kill and every wave pays out, and what selling a tower refunds. Players who send the next wave in early get paid for the seconds they save.
Maps
Create any number of maps, played one after another, each with its own road, towers, waves and economy. Score carries from one to the next, and each game keeps its own high score.
